Just One Kiss mad eye very happy. Last spring, I was miserable because ski season was over, so I began looking for wintery themed books, and I found a small but lovely town named Harbor Pointe, complete with a visiting bad-boy ski champion, and boom, I was a happy girl.
Fast forward and this summer, the third visit to this Michigan town was published. Just One Kiss would work as a standalone novel, but reading the second book in the series, Just Let Go would make reading the third even more enjoyable. The first, Just Look Up is also excellent.
In this third installment, we have a single mom, a distant dad, a teen who only wants to ski and a lot of very deep and difficult emotions. I do read romantic suspense but am a huge fan of less murderous books too. Harbor Pointe remains one of my favorite places to visit. Things might get emotionally messy, but I know it’ll all work out. Plus there’s a beauty in the “Happily Ever After” storyline being extremely well written.
Eighteen months ago Courtney Walsh was a new to me author and now she’s one of my favorites.
