Snowbound with her Protector is my first book by Elizabeth Long but won’t be my last.

The story focuses on veteran Tripp Blackburn who now trains highly skilled therapy dogs for a variety of service roles. He is accompanied by the amaing Rain who is a cardiac dog herself, monitoring Tripp’s damaged heart valve. He visits Four Cross Ranch in Wyoming to deliver a dog and work with the recipent family.

In the process, he meet sthe midwife sister of the men who run Four Cross, Cora. While helping her with a patient’s unruly dogs, Cora falls and breaks her ankle, so Tripp offers to be her driver. Then he learns she’s terrified of the animals he’s built his whole life and career around.

This is a beautiful story with some great humor and heart, excellent faith component, and brilliant characters you get invested in quickly. I didn’t want the story to end.

Snowbound with her Protector has all the feels and I highly recommend it for fans of contemporary romance. I seriously hope Love Inspired gets her to write a lot more books.
