Yukon Wilderness Evidence is a rollercoaster of a story that you’ll rattle through quite quickly. Actually, let’s be honest, you won’t want to put it down until the case is solved and everyone is safe.
I’ve read everything Darlene L Turner has written and this is my favorite so far. As someone who reads a lot of romantic suspense, I love when a story keeps me guessing and this one did. As far as romances go, this pair certainly had their ups and downs. Forensic botanist Keeley Ash is determined to get to the bottom of the mystery when remains are uncovered in the Yukon Forest. But then the evidence is linked to a cold case and puts Keeley in danger. Her e, paramedic Brett Ryerson is the last person she expected to rescue her. And then their son, the one Rhett knows nothing about is kidnapped… you can imagine the physical and emotional chaos that unfolds from then on.
I particularly liked the forensic botany part of the story. This is an investigative science I knew nothing about, so besides being entertained, I was also educated. How fun is that? I got the sense the research into this clever discipline was meticulously done so hats off to Turner for that.
I’m a longtime Darlene Turner fan. I received a copy of Yukon Wilderness Evidence for review but the enthusiasm is all my own.
