Goodness me but that’s what I call going out with a bang! Vow of Justice, the final installment in Lynette Eason’s Blue Justice series is the literary equivalent of a visit to Six Flags – twists, turns and stomach-dropping moments on every other page.
As with the previous offerings, VOJ features another law enforcement member of the St John family. And this time, Linc is the featured character. An FBI agent in love with his partner has a lot to deal with, before you mix in murderous mafia, rebellious teens and an enormous hidden enemy.
But no more about the plot. You’ll have to read the book. Or really, the whole series. Traditional thinking often suggests the number of readers can dwindle as a series progresses, but really I think with Blue Justice the opposite should be true. The first one was great, the second one delayed my Christmas decorations being taken down and so it went on. My husband might be secretly thrilled the series is done. So no one tell him the author has a new series looming on the horizon!
I read this book while on a massive road-trip. I may have missed parts of the drive into Bryce Canyon because it was just that good! Great characters I cared about, a plot that had me guessing until very near the end and a sweet romance that, well, no. That’d be telling.
Suffice it to say, if you like reading romantic suspense books, this series should be at the top of your list.
