Tracks of Courage

Track of Courage, by Susan May Warren

Track of Courage represents one of my favorite things – a new series from an auto-read author. Susan May Warren has long been one such writer for me. Thankfully this story didn’t disappoint.

Susna May Warren seems in her element when writing about Alaska. This time round pop star Keely Williams is visiting the frozen north to try and find her biological mom. After deciding not to pursue a reunion, she tries to get out of town only to be on a plane that gets hijacked. Suddenly the trip of discovery is the stuff of nightmares.

Former policeman Dawson Mulligan spots the downed plane and with his mutt, Caspian goes in search of survivors. The two mus thtem wait out a monster storm if they’ve got any hope of evading a killer.

There’s a lot going on in this book. A. LOT. There’s the suspense part of not getting killed, and the action of surviving in the Alaskan wilderness. That would be enough for more stories but no, this is SMW. So let’s add in some family drama, career angst and of course romance, and you’re getting closer. As ever, Warren’s work contains spiritual gold and swoony romance and is meticulously researched. This story has it all. Highly recommended.

I received a copy of Track of Courage from the pubisher via NetGalley. The enjoyment is all my own.
