Out of Time

Out of Time, by Irene Hannon

Out of Time, by Irene Hannon is part of a series but stands well on it’s own. This book kept me guessing for longer than your average suspense novel. And in turn that kept the pages flying.

This story features historical anthropologist Cara Tucker who’s been invited to study a dwindling language, staying on a rural estate. But trouble meets Cara there and no one can figure out who the source of that trouble is.

Sheriff Brad Mitchell is determined to figure things out though. He’s aware something isn’t quite adding up. When there’s a death on the properly, the pair team up to try and solve a modern day crime and an ancient mystery, both before the body count rises.

As you’d expect from Irene Hannon, one of the Christian Fiction greats, the plot is tight, ten action compelling and the characters noes you’ll start to pull for very quickly. If you love a good mystery with some touching romance on the side, this whole series is for you.

I received a copy of Out of Time from the publisher via NetGalley. The views are my own.
