Body of Evidence is the third and final book in the Triple Threat series. The collection followed the Reilly sisters in their various professions, all centered around law enforcement. This story focused on forensic pathologist Grace. She’s convinced a series of deaths in the older community are not coincidental or natural. Persuading Sheriff Nate Cox takes persistence, but once he sees her point, Grace’s life is on the line.
This whole series has been a masterpiece. Three very different sisters, all facing unpredictable danger. The thing I liked most in all three, is that unpredictable part. I read a lot of romantic suspense, and suspense novels. I watch cop shows. And in each case, I couldn’t see how the story would play out.
Irene Hannon is excellent at weaving a solid mystery into a sweet romance, and that was definitely the case with Grace and Nate. As the two worked on the investigation, their relationship began change and watching Grace follow her sisters into love was wonderful.
I recommend Body of Evidence and the whole Triple Threat series.
